1926 Vlassenroot established
1966 construction of the new factory in Groot-Bijgaarden
1983 installation of the longest bending machine in Europe (length 24 metres)
1991 installation of the most powerful bending machine in Europe (4,000 tonnes)
1996 company acquired by Mr JC.Wibo
1999 quality certification by BVQI (ISO 9002)
1999 acquisition and integration of KSK into the Vlassenroot Group
2002 Vlassenroot GmbH Bochum Germany established
2007 Vlassenroot Polska established (08/2006)
2009 the 4 companies were brought in into The Vlassenroot Group (foundation: 19.01.09)

With over 80 years of experience in steel processing, Vlassenroot is now the market leader in XXL steel processing. The company’s more than 1,000 employees collectively realise a turnover of EUR 150 million.
